Join your instructors for a half-day adventure in useful fermentation techniques for food, sauces, and condiments. Fermenting provides many health and long term storage benefits, as well as diversified flavorings. Topics will include vegetable and meat preservation techniques for everyday use. Special emphasis on health and food safety concerns. Come prepared to learn by doing, ask questions, and eat fermented foods. We also will cover how to roast your own coffee!
